Technical / Poster Session
This session will discuss a range of innovative ideas and applications for Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV’s), and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV’s). It goes beyond what was considered conventional, presenting, the utilization of imaging technologies to innovate Offshore use, turbocharging electric ROV’s with technology from the electric vehicle industry, teleoperation based sensory augmentation, and digital twins’ technology. This will be a walk-through a range of new capabilities, special missions for launch and recovery, executing pull in and pull out operations with ROV's in scenarios designed for shallow Divers, the use of different power sourcing options, different communication-navigation systems, for use in energy, maritime, and defense applications.
