Technical / Poster Session
Autonomous and/or boatless approaches to support Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) operations are one of the Oil and Gas Industry’s current challenge. As companies strive to reduce CO2 emissions and be resilient in low commodity prices, ROV and AUV has grown in importance and focus for Operators and Service companies. The industry is dedicating R&D resources to accelerate the delivery of technologies and a race of service companies is taking place to develop vehicles that will attend all range of needs to assess subsea integrity.
