Panel Arctic Sessions
This session is dedicated to the energy transition and the importance of critical minerals and expanded renewables deployment in realizing the energy transition/electrification goal. So much technological advancement is taking place and we are seeing more and more renewables being successfully and cost effectively deployed across the Arctic region and other areas around the globe. It is now the time to showcase this potential. OTC is providing this platform to continue to discuss the importance of the energy transition, while still keeping focus on the energy needs to sustain our world. The panel will focus specifically on energy transition, renewables and electrification and how the Arctic is key to delivering this global mandate. The panel will cover renewables, land and mining, and critical mineral requirements to reach energy transition goals, and what policies and actions are needed to streamline the federal and state permitting processes to facilitate our ability to overcome unnecessary challenges to meeting these goals.
