Technical / Poster Session
The oil and gas industry is increasing its focus on the development of subsea tiebacks to enable the capture of greater high quality resource while minimizing additional floater costs. However, as tieback distances and water depths continue to increase, technical and commercial limitations arise that challenge the success of these tiebacks. New projects must leverage innovative solutions while simultaneously being low cost, sustainable, and data-driven. This session will focus on subsea processing solutions to debottleneck existing facilities and increase reserves capture, long distance power transport, and electrification to support a low cost and low emission future. Additionally, the session will explore the role of digitalization and big data in ensuring reliable production operations.
